Getting Out of a Tough Spot with Max Disctance Retrievers

Well, it happened again; another disc claimed victim to the murky depths. At this point, you’ve lost count of how many of your faithful plastic pioneers have given the ultimate sacrifice over the years.

One time it was that special edition stamp, then there was that limited-series run, and you’re still haunted by the Firebird; it was the one that everyone peeked at in your bag and secretly wished they had.

Now, you watch in utter disbelief as your special utility disc, the one that excelled at a few select shots; locks into a death glide over the rocky creek embankment and crashes into a watery grave.

You’re kicking yourself because you knew you shouldn’t have risked it without having a way to retrieve it if something went wrong off the tee and oh boy, did something go wrong alright; you grip-locked the disc so tight with a white-knuckled fury that if someone didn’t know any better they would have thought you were shaking your future father-in-law’s hand instead of gripping a driver.

What’s most disappointing is that the disc teases you; lying just beyond the reach of the only makeshift tool you have at your disposal; a downed maple limb with a curled prong on the end. However, deep down; you are angry at yourself because you know better and if you’re honest, you’ve put off getting a disc retriever.

Give yourself some grace; it’s not completely your fault. Most of the industry has put retriever products out on the market that, while they got the job done, left something to be desired.

What you’re really needing now is a product that can get the disc out of the water so you can move on with your round quickly; you need one of the Max Disctance suction cup retrievers.

What makes Max Disctance different is that they're a family owned and operated company based out of Texas that has been through the same disc retriever woes that we all have as disc golfers. While there are a few products on the market that look similar to the Max Disctance suction cups that their CEO, Shawn Hammond, patented and developed; they are not the same.

Max Disctance designed a custom mold that increases the power and durability of the suction cup, making sure to make the inner ball water tight so that it wouldn’t become water logged, and with this they made sure that they brought disc golfers a far superior product that is not only versatile for almost every situation, but one that we can all rely on.

What's more; they're easy to install. You can take a Max Disctance suction cup and replace the factory attachment on the end of most 16' retrievers that has an M5 bolt pattern like the Dynamic Discs and similar style retrievers rather quickly.

Finally, unlike many of the other retrievers on the market, these products are easy to use. As their CEO, Shawn, says, “The greatest thing about our product is that it is efficient and easy to use. With that we ask that if you see someone on the course struggling to get their disc back, to take a few minutes to take out your Max Stick and make their day!”

Pick yourself up one today and as our Chief Chaplain Officer, Steve Franklin, says, "Now, let's go throw, to the glory of God!
