Getting Out of a Tough Spot with Max Disctance Retrievers
Share
Well, it happened again; another disc claimed victim to the murky depths. At this point, you’ve lost count of how many of your faithful plastic pioneers hav
e given the ultimate sacrifice over the years.
One time it was that special edition stamp, then there was that limited-series run, and you’re still haunted by the Firebird; it was the one that everyone peeked at in your bag and secretly wished they had.Â
Now, you watch in utter disbelief as your special utility disc, the one that excelled at a few select shots; locks into a death glide over the rocky creek embankment and crashes into a watery grave.
You’re kicking yourself because you knew you shouldn’t have risked it without having a way to retrieve it if something went wrong off the tee and oh boy, did something go wrong alright; you grip-locked the disc so tight with a white-knuckled fury that if someone didn’t know any better they would have thought you were shaking your future father-in-law’s hand instead of gripping a driver.

What’s most disappointing is that the disc teases you; lying just beyond the reach of the only makeshift tool you have at your disposal; a downed maple limb with a curled prong on the end. However, deep down; you are angry at yourself because you know better and if you’re honest, you’ve put off getting a disc retriever.
